If it comes down to choices of Gen 7, pick Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, depending on which of the two has the exclusives you want.
I'm not here to make some promise like "you'll absolutely love/hate this," or tell you that this is the pinnacle/nadir of the series. I'm here because /vp/ is a cesspool, hardly conducive for balanced discussion, and this has been the case for some time. Ignore /vp/ and just try Ultra Sun/Moon for yourself. If you don't like them, you can always return them and try Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire using the same guidelines.
