It does make for some interesting mental imagery though, the trope of the characters of the world being akin to marionettes on a string, put into crisis for the amusement of the gods.

Maybe that one unused mystery continent?, but I think it would make a neat setting for sort of off-hand slice of life sort of stories or something given the less serious tone of the games they were set in, and how everyone there is a native pokemon as it is. idk.
