oh regarding meme mons, since that's what most of the aguing was about. i'll be the first to say that i love huge tough looking pokemon, giant spikey dinosaurs and edgy donusteels and cool animals, but meme mons have always been a part of things too. we need our digletts and our wobbuffets. i'll do my best to make every suggestion into a good monster, no matter what the epic reference originally was, and i think we got a great balance of serious to silly mons really. if it helps you warm up to it, my thoughts on the taco are that it's like a mimic, only a taco. but also it's 2 foot across and no one is gonna try to eat a giant taco they found in the middle of the woods or in a crumbling ruin, which frustrates it to no end. also was thinking about the myths of not accepting food from fairies.
