I've been playing Pokémon since I was ten, probably liken most people here. My fiancé is eleven years older, and while he enjoys video games, he can't really get into Pokémon. He's just too old, missed that boat. I convinced him to play Gen V when B/W came out, and he loved Snivy, but he lost interest and I had to take over his save. I'd love him to play, it's a lot easier than me having to play both versions, but he's just not into it. We bond over other games, though, recently he's been into FFXIV:ARR and I'll sit on the couch playing my DS and help him not suck at tanking.
I've dated other people who aren't into games as much as I am, people who get stir crazy if they spend their day off sitting at home in their pajamas. I'm lucky to find someone else who shares my interests, spending time together like this is the best part of our relationship.
