I've also adopted a different leveling rule than mainline games due to Snakewood really liking to try to fuck me with sudden and fairly dramatic level increases. All pokemon are to be leveled to the strongest previous pokemon encountered in a trainer battle +3. As Brawly is no longer present the new gym leader is a dark type user who I'm sure will be an edgelord. Alpo should be able to deal with whatever's coming using his Mach Punch, hopefully.
