I had a piece of dialogue written in my outline where the mc mentions his technique summons Pokemon and then for Gojo to ask if he just ripped off Digimon. But that didn't really make sense for someone playing dumb about Jujutsu to say nor does the etymology make sense because they don't come from his pockets.
I don't understand why the childhood and baby step arcs are so common in isekai fics. Is what I would say if I can actually recall one right now, but it's common enough that I can complain about it. The Nemona fic is so long and stuck in the pre-teen age that I'm convinced that its going to take real life years and be an entirely separate sequel fic before we get to the main events in the game.
