Ahaha
No.
It has been like this since at least 2015.
The real problem with /padt/ isn't the anime. It isn't the copypasta. It isn't even the regulars that are here 10+ hours a day. You look at other Generals throughout the site, and they change and adapt over time because the users of said Generals invoke said change.
It has been over a year since XY&Z ended, yet XY&Z is still in the copypasta.
Adamant is around 4 months behind with subs, yet nobody adds the new sub group into the copypasta.
Hell, it even says SM is still dull and uneventful despite the past 5 episodes being full of important plot-related events.
If it were 2015 all over again and you said that Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie were hopping on a Hoopa to go through rings to get to an alternate dimension to save someone, /padt/ would be on fire.
The problem with /padt/ is the sheer apathy for its userbase. Most people who want to seriously discuss SM either make a different thread or go to a different site. Nobody wants to put up with this community anymore in the same way most users went from /b/ to /pol/ to escape the porn spam. Everyone is sick of fighting a small, yet highly dedicated userbase living in the past with XY&Z. New threads keep being made well before the bump limit to enforce the status quo, and if someone dares changes the copypasta to a way it's "not supposed to be," the thread is ignored.
Sorry if I'm ranting. I know I'm yelling into a black hole here as if anything said will actually change anything about /padt/.
