The OP pasta of this thread literally says to watch another series instead of the one airing because it's "dull and uneventful", that isn't a positive given how the state of the series has changed since it started. And /padt/ in general has next to no moderation in general.
I just want to be able to talk about the series without having people constantly interrupting any chance at discussion with catchphrases like "That time again, huh?", forty different variants of "X couple doing X" every other post, or even worse mentioning any girl in a uncompleted manner then having people post ABL this, "X character is shit Lillie is here forever!" that. Even mentioning other girls name sets people off to spam their unrelated ships of that girl and other characters while at the same time spamming Ash/Lillie pictures. You can't talk Ash/May, Ash/Dawn, or Ash/Serena because you get shitposted for it.
Again, have an opinion just don't start shitting on others because you don't like what they like.
>>34997975See the above, discords can work if the users try to make it so. There are many discords that were started on 4chan that are good places to talk about things. I just want to talk about the anime, anon. That's it. I'm not expecting it to be massively busy, but if a few people want to drop in and casually talk about episodes after they air or after some news drops I'd love to do it in a place where there's no shitposting. It also wouldn't have a permalink, it'd expire after like a day or whatever then from that point on wards you need to be invited.
