Seriously though. Pokeshipping has been around for almost twenty years. Even when a new ship is introduced to counter it (Orangeshipping, Advanceshipping, Pearlshipping, etc), it still lives through. Despite some fans abandoning Pokemon as a whole or else finding a ship they support more, it still lives through.
I ship some obscure things, I ship some never-became-canon things… The point is that there are a lot of ships I love that are deader than Pokeshipping probably ever will be.
I laugh at people who claim Pokeshipping is dead. I honestly do. Even with Misty having been removed from canon for years, it still has the most mutual evidence to support its existence, still has some solid ground to stand on, still has just as much chance at canon as any other, more current ship.
