I figured they would do the same thing with Dawn and have a rival crush on her, (which they technically did with Kenny), and said, "I won't be fooled twice" so I never got into Pearlshipping as much.
Ash/Dawn did have a fun dynamic though. Now I ship Dawn with Zoey like god intended.
