The argument here is Leon being ridiculously powerful and how that could be. Rose basically building him up to that, similar to how Lysander manipulated Alain, would’ve been fantastic.
Throw in lines from other Champion saying they’ve heard the rumors of his intense training. But someone like Cynthia or Diantha for example saying that they feel it’s excessive, that it doesn’t allow for one to enjoy life outside of training.
Which could’ve been doubled down by what Sonia said how she barely ever saw Leon again after Rose took him under his wing.
Leon’s whole identity is molded into becoming the ultimate trainer, and Rose succeeds…but at what cost?
Leon could’ve been the strongest and been an interesting character.
