It makes the media shallow, repetitive, and ultimately boring>Hollow character writing and personality. None of the characters in XY has pronounced personality aside from their respective gag>Deconstructing the Pokemon anime from being "a journey of human and Pokemon living each other" into "Ash Ketchum challenging Gyms to become the strongest". It sounds nothing but the fact that episode writing revolves around Ash and not human and the Pokemon as per usual makes the episode boring and lacks substance when compared to similar episodes from earlier series>Crappy animation with stiff movement outside battles and dizzying 3D camera that obscured the movement>Return of innuendos and creepy camera shots>Serena being so dependent of Ash is so backward writingThis is what I meant when I said "broken record" and by pointing out that these reasons hae been repeated too much. Like I said, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Not to mention the Kalos league is the only reason for the hate.
