They shouldn't exist in the first place. They are a contrived anime-only original concept, an OC if you will.

Alain should be retconned. The vines should be retconned. And if it weren't for Ash-greninja being added into the games post-humously, then I'd have said that should be retconned as well.

It was never retcon as JN confirmed Kalos forest still get attacked by those vines and Ash's Greninja still cleaning them. Only Alainfags like you claim any retcon because those dark vines were entirely Alain's fault but he shove the responsibility on Ash and Greninja by playing victim.
