Even if nobody particularly likes him and he's just a scapegoat for Alola's villain now, he is a significant character who's already been added to Masters with his model and lines done. And role-wise, Wicke is roughly as important for her role of continuing to maintain the idealistic side of Aether Foundation that Faba contrasts with.
But what little rushed characterization this team had has long been clumsily sidetracked into Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine circlejerking over what a beautiful, loving, not at all broken family they are while the latter does her job perfectly like she very much always has, and that's the more relevant reason why nothing else from this subplot is going to come back up. Same with Mohn obviously.
