My personal take after watching Horizons till now:
1. Too many OCs, regardless whether it is villians or protags or side characters, except for Iono, Nemona etc. If OLM one day fucks up the development of OCs, the ratings will dwindle.
2. Liko, despite being hyped, is barely even doing much other than muh pendant & HOUSEWORK (e.g mopping the floor), seriously?
3. Story driven theme feels boring in Pokémon anime per se. Other story driven anime like Yu-Gi-Oh is miles ahead. I thought when Ash "retired", the anime will keep it's adventure theme and make it better, but oh well.
4. Roy is better than Liko at this point despite being a carbon copy of Ash.
5. Dot isn't my favorite because she is a worse version of Chloe. At least Chloe goes out and goes to school unlike Dot, who is stuck in her room like a hikkikomori. Why is OLM promoting this hikkikomori lifestyle on TV for kids, that is very unhealthy IMO.
