In XY, he wrote the first 3 episodes, Ash vs. Grant, Ash vs. Korrina, Serena's showcase debut, Ash vs. Clemont, Ash vs. Valerie, Ash vs. Sawyer Battle 2, both episodes of Ash and Olympia, the Terminus Cave episode, Ash vs. Alain Battle 1, Ash vs. Alain Battle 2, all 3 episodes of Ash vs. Wulfric, the set-up episode before Ash vs. Alain, all of the Team Flare stuff at the end of the league, and the last XY episode.
Tomioka is probably the best writer in this entire series when it comes to character development. Most of SM's best episodes, again, come from him.
