The only thing Serena has better than Dawn is tits and only tits. If older Serena's doesn't look as big as Dawn or has minor gaps than there is no reason to pick Serena over Dawn. Amourshipping and Serena's popularity is hanging on her tits.

Nobody really knows, but it's clear they were setting something up with her before Kusaka gave up. The main fan theory is that she's immortal (how else did she survive being in the rift of in time) but DP releasing meant her aims may have overlapped with Cyrus.

Ghost isn’t great yeah but there are four between Sableye, Shedinja, Dusclops and Banette. Ghost in DP I think has the same? (Drifblim, Spiritomb, Gengar, Mismagius). I genuinely have no idea what types are even over represented in DP, Normal? Poison? It feels all the type specialists have fuck all options.

Hoenn also had the same issue with ice.
Unova is still limited but you have Swanna, Carracosta, Seismitoad, Jellicent, Alomomola, and Basculin as options. Very low but nowhere near as bad as base DP. NOTHING WILL.

For starters, I wouldn’t care about DP at all when we have Platinum which is just objectively superior in anyway.
Secondly, gen 4 dp is not even the first game to only have 1 species line for a specific type and technically its 2 counting infernape. See gen 1.
Fire wasn’t very common in gen 3 either with only 5 options.
Gen 2 and 1 also weren’t the pinnacle of fire type options either with the first and last for a while being magmar in gen 2 and i think you didn’t even see one in gen 1 until safari zone.
Starmie was definitely at least lategame in bw2, i remember the first time it appears is in that one town you fight cynthia in, undella i think. You get surf after driftveil iirc in bw2 making your best options for surf swanna and vaporeon or forcing you to basically not run a water type and use surf hm slave until the 8th gym badge

Sheer delusion. You can catch starly before Gardenia and a few bug types too. For Byron you can use ground, fighting or water types, same goes for Maylenes Lucario. You have access to all the fire types in the game by the time you reach the ice gym and you have tons of other type matchup options for it as well if you don’t wanna use fire.

Every time somebody complains about another type being worse off in another game compared to DP fire types it's fucking baffling, because I'm pretty sure the only other game with one consistent option for Pokemon of a certain type is Gen 1, where there's only one ghost and only one dragon line because the types were super late additions. If your distribution is anywhere near as bad as that, there's a fucking problem.

Ohmori wasn't even the first choice to step in and finish XY after Masuda got shitcanned. He was the next man up after Unno failed.

XY sold less than DP. SM barely outsold RS. The sales didn't actually start exploding like this until the series moved to the Switch, many years after Masuda was thrown under the bus. What the games actually did after Masuda's ban was nosedive in quality.

Because after 4 games where a Water type was fucking mandatory to beat the game, 2 of which had 3 fucking HMs to its name, it's genuinely refreshing to have a game where Water was extremely downplayed. If you compare Unova's dex to DP Sinnoh's, majority of Sinnoh's dex is fucking Water types. That's how bad shit got by that point. Water is such a tiresome, oppressive type that's worse than Fairy in terms of exposure due to the high presence of Water routes in the Masuda era that ONE game without a plethora of options isn't going to be a complaint after Fire types had been demoted from Johto, to Hoenn, to especially Sinnoh

BW Unova is the ONLY game pre-Gen VII that didn't require you to use a Water type to beat it. And you fuckers still got Scald despite all this
