This proves the anime staff acknowledge Dawn to be the only lead girl important and special enough to Ash to watch the biggest battle of his career which makes sense since she was the only one who managed to pull of being a co-protagonist, had better chemistry with Ash and her Piplup is as profitable as Pikachu.
Dawn's only weakness against Serena is the size of their tits. However, there is no guarantee that Dawn will be flat as a cardboard when she grows up, especially since Teraleak and Masters confirmed the BDSP and PLA protagonists are different people. She is 12 in the game and 10 in the anime, so she is expected to be flat at that age. However, Dawn will likely have average-sized bust as an adult, like Eve Neuschwantein or Marin Kitagawa. Her BDSP hair with average sized bust can make her look like Eve Neuschwantein which should satisfy many, except some like me who want Ash's canon love interest to stand out with larger bust or a beauty mark.
Of course, the anime doesn't always follow the core game, as shown by Masters Dawn's curvier figure. A competent executive would confirm Dawn has the largest bust among lead girls and promote her as the main heroine and Ash's love interest to profit from her Piplup.
