>>58187608The clash between Cynthia and Volo's respective Garchomps begin! Cynthia proceeds ahead with trasforming into her Arc Suit, and doesn't let up on her attacks, as Volo begs Arceus to respond to him, only for nothing to happen, because he continues to use Pokemon as tools according to Cynthia. But in an unexpected twist, Volo FINALLY reveals his true form!
It turns out he's learned how to use his sync stone ultimate, to force the pokemons to obey him, as he takes control of Cynthia's Giratina, managing to get him to betray her by telling him that it can have a second chance at defeating Arceus, in a promise to rewrite the world.
Battles ensues in draws, as Rei manages to get to Cynthia's side and help weaken Giratina, but then the Distortion pokemon turns into its Origin Form just as she was rushing over; her Garchomp takes the hit for her, taking enough damage to faint, and as if it wasn't enough, Cynthia's Arc Suit outfit is detransformed.
Just when it seemed like despair was seeping in, Cyrus comes along, taking Rei's side. Volo whines about that, but Cyrus tells him that since he can't awaken his Arc Suit, it's an obvious decision to take the good guys' side. Despite admitting he was unprepared, Volo escapes for another time.
In the afternoon, Rei thanks Cyrus, but the latter says he did what needed to be done. Afterwards, Rei and Paulo apologizes to Looker and others, though not much could be done in the first place anyways. Meanwhile, Dawn and Lucas talk to Cynthia, who suggests to get more people to awaken their Arc Suits. She also wonders if she wasn't considerate of Giratina's feeling and may have objected to her using Arceus' powers, considering it banished him to Distortion World, so she promises to regain his trust.
In the epilogue, a godly figure is watching over... You already know who is it~
