When her crocalor evolved into a skeledirge, she became much less wary of the idea of ghosts and ghost types since he always has been and always will be a source of comfort for her. I think nyx and alto would be believers in reincarnation, though for alto, it's in part because he thinks the idea is cool.

i get wackier with nyx and rina, human+pokemon experimentation is a thing team flare got up to, in addition to the fact that they had secret operations studying deoxys' regenerative abilities out in hoenn. the two never encounter team flare proper though, since they've been defeated and disbanded long before the story starts, but they dig through the decaying remnants of the operation
