Before, he was just another ESL in the sea of voices pining after Misty/May/Serena/Lily/Chloe. Now he sticks out like a sore thumb, and spends all his time shitting on Horizons instead of attacking Goh.
I personally made fun of Goh back then for the lulz by calling him gay and saying people who liked him were gay. If I ever got a bite I would start making up bullshit about how Goh was a rude brat, knowing damn well they would argue that he grew out of it. But I didn't care because I was just trolling.
I don't really hate Goh as a character, and now that he's gone I don't have as much incentive to bait his fans. It's easier to make fun of Famon instead.
