He's the strongest trainer in the world, that's a perfect send off to him. We have 25 years worth of fucking media with Ash, he should've retired ages ago, DP preferably for me.

Say what you want about Riko being a girl protag, Roy being a nigger. blah blah classic /vp/ useless shit but I will take these two a million times over Ash just going back to underdog status again. His character has done nothing but take steps back ever since DP ended with him being a compete dumbass in BW. him while being more competent was a bit too serious for most people's liking, SM's personality was good for people but he had a fucked face so they hated it and JN he was basically a Robot Gary who won everything with a new squad until the plot demanded it.

This kid overstayed his welcome a very long time ago, it's time to hang up the hat and gloves, ride off into the sunset and don't come back.
