>>42561701How is it not true? Brock went from wanting to be a breeder, to going to school to become a Doctor, and now he’s a Doctor in training. He’s just about completed the goal he set out for from when he first left the Pewter Gym
Misty wants to be a Water Pokemon Master, whatever the hell that means, so she won the Whirl Cup, and after she split with the group, she became the full fledged Cerulean Gym Leader. Misty advanced the Gym to what it is today, achieving Mega Evolution to boot, with the only other Water specialist Mega Evolution user being Siebold, who is a member of the Elite Four. In terms of Water Pokémon trainers in the anime at least, Misty is one of the strongest.
Iris wants to become a Dragon Master, which apparently is just someone who understands and bring out the inner power of Dragon-type Pokémon. Even though she didn’t really deserve any of the developments she had, she “tamed” Dragonite, caught a Gible, and ended her story by chasing after Rayquaza, arguably the strongest Dragon-type Pokemon.
And then Cilan doesn’t really have a goal, his story is more about advancing his repertoire which he’s been traveling the world to do so. And every time we’ve seen him since the end of the show, he’s been doing exactly that.
Last time we heard from Dawn, she took a break from Contests, and last time we heard from May she lost to Dawn and was lagging behind Drew and Harley. None of the SM companions were doing anything significant at the end of the show besides maybe Kiawe beginning his training I guess?
