>>28507959That's not true at all. May in early Hoenn is not the same as the May from mid/late Hoenn, or the one from Battle Frontier.
May basically had the similar type of girly, energetic personality as others, but she was also stubborn and had a temper, she spent her run bickering with 4 boys (Ash, Max, Drew and Harley), she would sometimes make sarcastic comments similar to Misty/Iris, she would be happy and sweet, etc.
They made whole episodes with her learning to love pokemon, like the Mr. Briney Wingull episode, the one where she heals the injured Swablu, the one where she comes across her Bulbasaur, etc.
