Why does famon have this hate boner for Yajima when Yajima was considered a breath of fresh air early on? I remember at the start of XY a lot of people were really open to Serena, Citron and Eureka as companions, possibly the most personality filled since OS.
Yajima isn't alone in having Ash lose the Pokemon League. Yuyama handed him defeats in OS, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova.
Alain might have been a bit of a Mary Sue, but he was a much more convincingly strong trainer than Ritchie, Harrison, Tyson or Cameron.
If there's any complaints is that he directed possibly the most forgettable series. SM has broke ground by giving Pikachu a new move, Pokemon and people dying on and offscreen, Ash catching a goddamn Mythical and defeating 2 of the 4 future Alola Elite Four.
