>>53397171A team that is high level, with strong Pokemon that represent a variety of types. They should have four moves each and ideally shouldn't just be the level-up moves.
Blue is a decent champion but he could be better: Pidgeot is a weak link and the moves of his various mons aren't great.
Lance is a lame champion because three of his Pokemon are the same and all of them are Flying type. That said, all of his Pokemon do have four moves and they have some good variety despite the repetition. Red is incredible.
Steven is a step up from Lance but still suffers from having a lot of overlapping types. Wallace is a huge step down for having a monotype team.
Cynthia is a great champion because she has a strong variety (especially in Platinum, where she subs out her redundant Gastrodon for Togekiss) and good moves.
Alder is not great due to his reliance on Bug types and the generally weaker feel of some of his picks. Iris is a step up with her stronger Pokemon but she's still very themed.
Diantha's got some overlap and some bad picks with her Pokemon (Aurorus's typing is basically an instant lose button) but she'd be quite competent in a league where you don't end up super overleveled before fighting her.
Kukui isn't a champion but he's great in concept. Hau is a step down due to some slightly weaker picks. Trace is a worse Blue in every respect.
Leon would be fine without repetition of types. Mustard is a lot stronger but is no longer champion. Peony has type repetition and never seems to have a full team.
Geeta only barely has type overlap and has decent moves, so she's frankly a better champion than Blue and all the type fags. Nemona is a champion too, but her use of some of Paldeas ugliest Pokemon disqualifies her from being anything but the worst.
