>>57764421>good storyI understand why people say this. Alola is much more fleshed out than other regions in terms of culture and personality. Team Skull is a highlight, especially Guzma. The champion fight in the vanilla SM is thematically the best they ever did. The Pokédex entries and Pokemon concepts (like Mimikyu) were significantly better than Kalos and Unova.
On the other hand, Lillie’s family drama is lame(and dad being a fucking bean slinger in ultra space is retarded), ultra space in general just throwing random cameos at you is jarring, cutscene overdose, Hau is second only to your Kalos friends in terms of annoying friendly rivals, and Ultra Lusamine throws a fucking poke ball. It’s not flawless.
But hey, you walk into Guzma’s childhood home and talk to his father who beat his ass. Things like that carry a lot of weight.
