Visited Aether Paradise, where I fought Nihilego, and then landed at Ula'Ula' and fought Hau.
>Vs Nihilego
Trowzer the Steelix dealt handily with it, tanking two Headbutts and taking it out with two Bulldozes of its own.
I brought Trowzer onto the team for this particular part(Nihilego, Hau and I think Guzma later?)
>Vs Hau
>Brionne
Powalski hits it with Leaf Blade, but fails to oneshot, taking a BubbleBeam for his trouble. Hit way harder than I expected, too.
Giga Drain finishes off the seal.
>Flareon
I send in Shampoo on a Fire Fang.
My plan was to use Work Up and Flame Charge to boost, but I realize before actually using Flame Charge that Hau's Flareon might have Flash Fire(it does, by the way).
So instead, Shampoo just gets a Work Up in before Baton Passing(while eating two more Fire Fangs).
Tim comes in next, and Bonemerangs the Flareon into oblivion... after taking a Fire Fang.
>Noibat
It hits Tim with Bite, then falls to Shadow Bone.
>Alolan Raichu
I can either stay in and hope it won't take Tim out with Psychic, or at least try to play it safe with Trowzer. I go with the safer approach.
Psychic chunks Trowzer harder than I expect on the switch-in, and also causes a Sp.Def drop.
Another Psychic and Sp.Def Drop follows, and Trowzer is down to red health. A Bulldoze Crit takes Raichu out, thankfully. Not sure if the crit mattered, but still nice.
>Tauros
I know this thing has Pursuit. If I swap Trowzer out, Pursuit kills. But Trowzer's physical bulk is crazy, so staying in might let me land a Bulldoze and lessen the threat Tauros poses.
This turns out to be true, as Tauros Horn Attack reduces Trowzer to only 3 HP.
At this point, either Pursuit or Horn Attack kills, so I might as well switch out- either Trowzer lives, or I get a completely safe switch in.
It turns out to be Horn Attack again, and Akane takes that with ease.
The two normal-types keep exchanging Headbutts and Horn attacks until Tauros falls.
I'm honestly surprised noone died in that Hau fight.
