Fully caught up with Hyphen now. Spoilers below. I ended up checking out the SB and SV threads for Hyphen during the Granite Cave arc and it was so odd seeing other people's point of view there.
People thinking Brendan and May are untrust worthy which is like, what? They only ever share reasonable concern for Astra, even them trying to find more information about her isn't *too* invasive and they only do that because they're worried she's being abused. They basically treat her like a normal human being, even things like May wanting to go first are things me and my siblings did when we were kids.
You got to go first once, so now it's my chance. Astra's just being insecure, reasonably so mind you, because she's a Pokemon.
Not to mention people bringing up using the evil mega stone during that arc. Like what? Even before the later reveal, and even if you don't believe it's connected to Giratina, it's clearly pure evil and corrupts the mind of its user.
Not to mention the people wanting to go to war with humanity or to create an independent Psychic type state or something come into play cut off from human society. Which is just completely impractical.
Anyways I hope Astra gets out of the Ralts village soon. These chapters bore me to tears, especially the naming her Pokemon thing when they're barely even characters.
Aside from that there were some really oblivious people in the comments, or calling the ancestors entirely justified and Astra needs to take power now! When the story has gone out of its way to show becoming champion won't actually solve her problems, if anything keeping Steven would be more useful. Or condemning Hoenn for its part in the great war when they were the ones being invaded and trying to defend themselves, which led to their panicked, ignorant actions, and caused a pause on their pre-existing programs to fix granite cave.
Also the author sais that Astra's species of Krilia/Ralts are really tall, another point got human ancestry theory in my book.
