It's either they might finish up the Johto gym leaders, or do some gen 5 or Hoenn stuff during the down time between gen 10's reveal and its release.

Although they might hold on Unova even longer assuming they'll do a Unova game during gen 10, so they could do cross promotion with that

First batch up Sinnoh stuff for BDSP and the ZA figures were a couple years apart, so they might do some ZA figures sometime during a gap year in the latter half of gen 10

ORAS Brendan has always been that brown though. I didn't like his redesign at first but now I appreciate it, because it helps distinguish the RSE continuity from the inferior ORAS one. You don't see ORAS and RSE Brendan getting mixed up with each other in fanart the way RSE and ORAS May do. Hoenn is also one of the few places in PokeJapan where you could believably end up that tanned.

Though of course, Browndan was also clearly a result of DIE shit. But it was Unova that introduced the concept years earlier, Hoenn remakes just followed in its new design (((philosophy))).

I honestly didn't think ORAS was that bad. No Battle Frontier stung, but I enjoyed the new Megas, and it did try to modernize Hoenn like how FRLG and HGSS did with Kanto and Johto respectively.
It just took a worse remake in the form of BDSP for people to start realizing that fact.

Legends Hoenn should be set in prehistory. Literally witnessing one of the first Groudon Kyogre cataclysms.

Heavy emphasis on vertical movement like PLZA using environments like Fortree and Sootopolis but with the dangerous natural environments and movement mechanics of PLA.

Also a lot of focus on surfing and diving mechanics to set it apart from the other regions.
