>>20349275Fucked up that greentext, oh well.
Akido was based on Mr. Miyagi, and his team was full of shictkickers. He was the last leader i worked on and never really got fleshed out. Chugo was an old timey Japanese city, pagodas and whatnot. There were "Clans" who'd fight in the streets about various things, but everyone knew that if you crossed Akido, you fucked up.
Tremorburgh: Harrison Jones, Rock type leader, Marblebadge.
Jones was blatantly based on Indiana Jones, and that was about all the work I put into him. His team had some cool fossils and the city itself had a college that competed with the ones in Snowpoint, Gunmetal, Bay CIty, Highport, and Firstport. Magma was supposed to attack this place and the PCs were to stop them; never happened.
Bay City, Water gym. Horace Deep hands out the Pelagic Badge. Deep used to be a ranger from Hoenn, and by this point in the plot has a lot to say about the attacks by Magma and Aqua. His gym would've been swampy (the tabletop had rules for terrain, an all water field would have been a disaster) with sinkholes. The heavier the pokemon, the higher the sink chance. Bay city itself was a palette swapped SanFancisico, nothing really special. I fleshed out cities as the PCs approached them, and they never made it here.
Gunmetal City, Steel Specialist. Ferris Forge hands out the Forge Badge. Gunmetal City was Gotham mixed with Seattle, and Forge was Wayne. Gunmetal was an industrial manufactory specializing in shipbuilding. Some real heavy stuff was supposed to happen here, with Aqua stealing a sub and Magma inciting a citywide riot. Forge would have lived or died by the PCs decisions and actions.
Highport, Micheal Douglass hands out the SKybadge. Highport is on the largest island in the orions, large enough to support something like an airport. I thought about having his gym in a hanger, like Skyla, but went with a Zeppelin instead. (cont)
