First they went on and on and on about how she was gonna trounce Ash since she became a Champion just to then get BTFO and then they changed tune to Cynthia because there was no way for her to lose since she became a Champion for a reason, Ash rematch, main protagonist privilege, etc just for history to repeat itself.
