It's basically a bootleg and a downgrade from the ashnime but unironically, of all the stuff to take from the ashnime they took the animation style from the later seasons which is pretty lame and hypekilling

The battle animation felt pretty JN styled too.

Dude, the first episode is okay (still 15 minutes left) but.
The artstyle is so basically identical to JN
that it kills any hype. It unironically looks like JN filler except withot Ash and Goh. I mean like, literally, visually, it doesn't look like the OG Gen1-6 ashnime at all (except for that one panel where Riko does the whole "watashi wa monogatari no hirooin ka na" Pokemon trademark swirly eyes thing), that had OSXY vibes, otherwise visually it feels too JNish to truly synchronize with it/enjoy it properly.
