The recast was a gigantic error, to cut costs and due to heresay about contracts which existed but were breakable and it happened behind their backs.
TPCi not only downgraded the voice acting quality from 4Kids, but destroyed the music and opening themes. And somehow Cathcart churned out a slightly worse script than he did with other writers in the 4Kids dub, too. TPCi’s Pokémon dub is one of the worst dubs of all time.
