Goldfarb taking over music duties in XY and overhauling more of the OST than in any prior Series and from that point all the way to JN basically killed off any oldfags remaining in the English fandom, but that’s all basically correct.
GS had a very good dub for its first half of its run, and it was better than BW and JN despite filler hell that said so not completely without some redemption nowadays.
