>>57409764I mean, HZ managed to pack most gym leaders into the storyline, as well as the Elite 4. They even brought Carmine in, even if only as a one-off gag character. Omitting Arven and Kieran is a massive misstep, and with Area Zero in the rear view, I'd say Arven is pretty much out (I figured as much when he was unvoiced in his only appearance).
JN failed to depict every gym leader, which is pretty despicable, and I actually love JN. There's no excuse it. Meanwhile, I quite dislike HZ but thought each gym leader was used perfectly.
