Ash almost never train or study and expect for free win, but get mad when someone work hard enough to defeat Ash special destiny.
At this point it obvious. Alan make Ash fan angry because Alan work hard for win, unlike Ash who goof off Kalos and does not even train he Goodra just get it gifted for free.

Think about it rationally. Dawn has a high chance to appear in the games and maybe even in the anime again when GF eventually reaches the absolute creative bankruptcy and starts re-remaking the old gens (Sinnoh being the 2d most shilled after KANTOOOOO), meanwhile g*h was dead and forgotten the moment JN rolled the credits and everyone sighed in relief.

Sounds like bullocks to me. The frequent usage and ubiquitousness of technology and social media (not to mention Nanjamo and her VTuber nonsense) in HZ suggests it takes place after JN. I can’t speak for the games since I haven’t been playing them since Gen 6, but my gut feeling tells me there’s no substantial evidence for SV’s storyling to precede all of the previous titles either.
