The Super Ancient Pokemon are questionably Gods, it's more literal when the myth arc was introduced in Gen IV which was trying to retroactively tie together Hoenn with Kanto/Johto's worldbuilding. There was a lot of effort put into that aspect

Unova got less effort put into its lore but was more trying to be an independent project which is why it was the first not Japan-based game. The moment Kalos happens though, it's just completely throttled and it got even worse with ORAS

Actually yes that's how GF handles it, official media refers to all pokemon introduced in that game (even the ones from Kitakami and the terarium) as paldean pokemon, and the same applies to Home. Kitakami and BB Academy act as extensions of SV/Paldea.

And yes, the Kanto gym leader that appears in Johto's game. Are you gonna pretend she's a classic genwun character too? Because you would be the first one. You may as well claim Will and Karen are from Kanto too.

Not because it was first, but due to the amount of shilling it gets for being first calling that bad would be calling the current games bad for shilling them so much. Sorry, but gen 7 doesnt even have 1 flawless entry, the seal is the best one, but gets ruined by the gender ratio clashing with the mostly female design.

Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Kalos completely mog all othe regions.
Followed by Johto, Hisui and nu-Kalos.
Paldea, Alola, Unova, and Galar are the worst starter regions.

It can be difficult, I think the bulk of the difficulty in Gen2 is Johto, especially the first half and the E4. Especially the E4, depending on your rules, is pretty unforgiving. Once you get to Kanto you get a ton of encounters but Blue and Red specifically are both pretty beefy. Gen2 without candies is not much fun, been a few years when I was playing without them and ended up crashing out when I lost to the E4 on both Gold and Silver at the same time lol.

The one crit room and evasion room are stupid in the gym, I think Normie himself is pretty easy though it's been a while since I played vanilla RSE. Pelipper should know protect which could help with Slakings but I doubt it has the power to KO, might need to get lucky with some confuses haha. I love Breloom but it's so frail, doubt it could even two hit unless you overlevel for Sky Uppercut.
