>>58174578>houndoom, murkrow, tyranitar, sneasel and umbreon... only umbreon is technically accessible in johtoSneasal in Crystal Ice Path
Murkrow and Larvitar available as default encounters in HGSS Safari (unlocked once the player has healed the sick Lighthouse Ampharos)
>Skarmory is not in gold at all Yeah and Mantine isn't in Silver
>Steelix and Scizor are trade evos blocked until Kanto unless you knew to use thief on Magnemites.Computers existed in the 90s for kids who were curious on how to get these pokemon, you know.
>Forretress is not steel until evolution and hidden behind headbutting trees exclusively. You get access to Headbutt as soon as you beat the second gym so this isn't a problem at all and there was no point in bringing this up. Nitpick.
>Magnemite is the only feasible steel type to get in a playthrough, and it's a rehash from Kanto with the new type.Valid argument, though Magnemite is a consistently good Pokemon throughout all games it appears in.
>The only 2 new fighting types are Heracross, which is behind Headbutt trees, and Hitmontop, only available after the 8th gym with a convoluted evolution method>Heracross and TyrogueOnce again, Headbutt trees are not an issue, and Tyrogue was available earlier as a possibility with the Odd Egg
>The 2 new lines, Houndour and Slumga, are both postgame exclusive.Valid for Houndour, however HGSS also fixes Slugma with by making it secretly available via Primo Eggs, meaning you can hatch it before you even fight Falkner. A convoluted method, but still possible.
>Fire StoneAlso fixed in Crystal and HGSS
5/10
Valid complaints and arguments mixed with years long misconceptions, I assume you're under 20 so you wouldn't understand this but games full of cryptic bullshit back in the 90s and 2000s were released with guide magazines for kids to find the secrets out in. Certain problems are such a product of an era, cash grabby? Yeah, and here we are, in the DLC lootbox gacha world. It'll get worse.
