It's in the sewers and Golbat is in the towers. Basically only man-made locations. But it's still there. If I remember right Zubat is the main bat in Alola. Kalos apparently all 3 bats are there but in different caves. It's probably time to introduce another bat.

Missed these threads.

Just started my adventure in Kalos. Still incredibly early on (beat Emma after doing 3 side missions for her), but already found a spot to hunt for one of my absolute favorite buddies. Not leaving this place until I get a male Alpha Ekans. No luck tonight though. After that I'm gonna track down and hunt myself an Alpha Pichu/Pikachu and Alpha Honedge.

Funny how all the complaints about the Kalos starter mega stones being locked behind ranked went away after scrubs saw that it takes 0 effort to earn them. Turns out nobody was really upset about it costing extra for nintendo online, but instead where scared they'd have to play a game competitively to earn something.

the problem is that kalos despite being the supposed beauty-themed region doesn't have a lot in the way of beauty-themed mons, and a lot of the ones that do exist are either shitmons or have type overlap because the amount of new pokemon is significantly lower
and making diantha a psychic or fairy-themed champion would have come at the expense of stepping on the toes of gym leaders. technically wallace and alder got away with it but they were also from a third version and an optional postgame fight respectively

Had to rush to get to Kalos because they cut the generation down after Sinnoh was a 4 year development. The real sins stem from how they ended Sinnoh, and anything BW did couldn't redeem itself with Ash as the protagonist. Especially after the earthquake

If we could do more than run around a tiny city it would have been better. I hate the building textures. I honestly think if It was all of kalos it could have been a solid 9/10

Hoenn? Blaziken is the only standout
Sinnoh? Powercrept to shit
Unova? Kek. Serperior even fell of
Kalos? Greninja only
Alola? Incen is only good in doubles but he's great there.
Galar? Cinderace and Rilanoom are fine I guess?
Paldea? Cat and Croc have fallen off but still usable.

So...Blaziken, Greninja, Cinderace, Rillaboom, Meowscarada and Skeliderge. Is that it?

Nope, according to NPC dialogue, most of the land outside of Lumiose is farmland, to grow food to feed wild pokemon no less. I have little reason to believe the urban sprawl present in X and Y exist in this universe

I think Zygarde’s entire purpose got retconned all the way back in 2015/2016 whenever his arc started in the Anime. In fact, and the game backs up what I’m about to say, I don’t believe Zygarde is really even a Kalos legend anymore (Character says Kalos has two legendary pokemon and not three). He’s now just a worldwide legend, which is backed by him being in Alola and Nihil Light is heavily implied to be based on Z-Moves from that region (Lysandre basically says it).

Lysandre was at least memorable, but Team Flare was the first team that essentially made them into meme teams.

There's nothing stopping them from making the reference by having a hallway location lead into the Gym but the reason people hate it is because that's ALL the city is. There's no branching paths or city core you can visit as a hub. It's JUST a hallway, which is worse than anything Unova or Kalos had done up to that point
