Dimension holes could have easily been the same as Tera raids. There could have been some fun ones like surviving waves of enemy mobs with the new gameplay style, point damage races against bosses, and even some racing parkour obstacles courses. The amount of times it gets mentioned that only 3 people are allowed in, and how you end up solo-ing everything because the game only gives you the Rival and Korrina for the story only boss fights. It was just plain frustrating that it went no where.
Complete lack of scenery changing, and missed opportunity to have dimension holes take you to different areas like the ultra worm holes, even reference other Kalos areas. Instead, its just Lumoise city in greyscale, which is just a fucking copout.
