I'll probably wait I guess, just hoping they make the Kalos mega stones available through other methods or at least do reruns of it. Don't really feel like doing side missions if I'm planning to get my own legit copy later down the line.
If anything I'm more interested in knowing how shiny hunting will work in this game, that's the real postgame.

I emulated SwSs and S&V in old Ryujinx, and while Swird ran well, Scarlet ran like shit. Might be my dusty PC tbqh.
So how does ZA run on emulation (specially on lated Ryujinx port), compared to S&V?
And is true thta most new Megas are locked out until Post game? And same for Kalos starter megas?

The Kalos starters, fair point, didn't think of that when I did them, but no clue when the gender is determined. When the quest is accepted, perhaps?

They end at A rank, but the game is like an inverse of Kalos where the last few objectives have so much shit in between them that you're not simply going from letter to letter. The postgame makes up for skipping ranks by making you do 15 more challenges in order to get Eternal Floette

you cannot disable autosave in this game, what you get is what you get the moment its obtained.
The Chespin for instance you fight before it joins you, and you are stuck with whatever gender you see there.
You can catch more kalos starters in wild zones, but its very late game

NTA. Been playing since Gen 1. Was 22 when XY came out. Granted I only got to the 7th gym but that was more life stuff, I still put like 200~ hours into it, breeding, going online, etc. WHY does everyone hate it? If anything this Kalos pandering made me want to go back and start over/finish it. "One of the worst games ever made"? Seriously?

Also, man, that's harsh, you'd think Flygon, Jynx, Eevee and Volcanion, Mew,Yvetle and Xerneas would get megas or at least somebody in that line up would considering they've been on the waiting list for years

Mew is part everything, Eevee's whole thing is Stones, Jynx had a confirmed mega, Flyon only didn't have one because of writer's block decades ago and the others are Kalos legendaries just like Zygarde, Staraptor and Chimcho are the most random choices right up there with Tatsuguri and Glimmora

i guess I can excuse Braxcauilbur it's clearly going to be a Shin Godzilla reference or super saiyan rose Godzilla from the recent movie

It doesn't look promising, even starting out this person (and at least one other person in the comments) kept getting thrown against other players with fully evolved Mega Pokemon every match and getting their ass kicked and failing to rank up, rather than getting properly matched with other novice players.

As such, if this is all true it looks like the Kalos starter megas are basically only for players who've finished the game then, so much for getting starters early in quests when you won't be able to get their stones.

Your singular kanto starter is a relatively early game pick, mid game here and you have no other options for kanto starters yet, maybe the rest come with the endgame. You get the kalos trios super fast tho.
