Ange is a second ultimate that AZ made either 1000 or 2000 years after the Kalos war. Apparently, Ange is what Lysandre wanted in the first place, but AZ made it so the control mechanism required his eternal floette to prevent it for being misused, so Lysandre had to settle for the flower laser in Geosenge town. The monster form isn't what it was supposed to look like, it took on that form after absorbing Mega Floette's energy. Also because the device itself had started to deteriorate and malfunction, it had to be permanently shut-down in order to prevent it from destroying Lumiose city.
I think it is stated to have the same life granting abilities as the other UW, and we see first hand in game that it can shoot the same purple lasers too, though zygarde blocks them before they can hit you(it can also summon smaller flowers to shoot the light of ruin beams at a smaller scale, this is the main part of the final boss, you take down the flowers while zygarde fights the big one)

what did GF mean by this?
even if Emboar gets something like Supreme Overlord it will still be awful with that speed
even if Meganium gets something like Triage+Draining Kiss it's still not doing much
even if Feraligatr gets something like Strong Jaws+Fishious Rend it's still too slow to make full use of it
not sure how GF will balance this out

Personally, this game is worse than PLA (I love PLA). The new combat mechanics are fun at first, but they become boring and tedious after a while, just like rogue megas. I also hate that they've made mega energy similar to dynamax, in the sense that it's now a radioactive energy that creates crystals, drives Pokémon crazy and makes them bigger. The story is stupid and the city seems very disconnected from Kalos and other important characters from X/Y. I don't know if DLC could fix all this

Are the Kalos starters from the side missions gender locked? I restarted three times and Chespin was female each time. Would like to try resetting for a female Fennekin from the quest, but not sure if it is worth it if they are all gender-locked.
Are the other starters you didn't pick at the beginning given at the end of the game like in Legends Arceus?
And I know the linking cord is gone, but is there still an in-game method for getting trade evolutions without the trading?

It really depends on what the “Mega Dimension” is. Maybe it’s an alt-universe Kalos, maybe it’s a random big field somewhere, maybe it’s an USUM-style world-hopping deal.
That said I don’t think a mon needs to be environmentally relevant to get a Mega. Like Falinks is not thematically or environmentally relevant, yet it’s getting one.

For Geeta maybe I guess??? Nobody thought Gen 9 pokemon would get megas and here we are. Maybe she will travel to Kalos? Also wasn't Glimmora exclusive to areas tied to Tera? Kinda weird to find these in Kalos. The DLC might make them spawn there anyway, but that might be just for Geeta. Just my opinion though.

There are versions of Hex Maniac and even the new shitty Artist feminist kind of trainer class but I think I haven't seen any Fairy Girl trainer class redesign, she was introduced in Kalos to shill fairies, odd. Maybe they didn't want to overshadow the ugly last minute black token Fairy specialist cunt with a fixation for private tournaments. Still wish she was white, would have been more iconic and memorable.

Ignore the faggots here and heed this: nobody caught Mewtwo in the mainline games outside of RR and that's from an AU where Protags doesn't exist. Hell, capturing Mewtwo is completely optional, along with completing the Pokédex. It's probably canon that none of the Legendary Pokémon were captured outside of the team you find them with in Masters.

Basically, Mewtwo is in Kalos as a way for the trainers to obtain their Megastones and nothing more. Don't think about it.

How early can you get the kalos and kanto starters?

I plan on starting with Chikarita and getting a Fennkien and a Squirtle, those 3 i will always keep where as everyone else I will rotate, I pre ordered so I'll have Ralts and in my HOME box I have a level 1 shiny Dratini waiting to be imported so I'll be relying on those as well.

Are we to be setting up trade rooms for pokedex filling once the game is officially out as well? and has Mewtwo's side quest been found yet?

How would you react if this happens since Serena is the player character? if Z-A DLC introduce Diantha as the former champion while the player taking her position then the anime could do this since Serena is Grace's daughter. After all Serena did promised to be an idea woman for Ash and his ideal woman is somebody who can battle him.
