LEGO fans are another kind of manchildren and since most of them only really played Pokémon during Pokémania, Kanto was the safest choice by the company.
I heard that there won't be ONLY Kanto, but the Kanto ones will definitely sell more than the rest.
But honestly, who cares? Most Lego fans aren't even Pokémon fans themselves so of course they will consume the nostalgiaslop (this Pikachu doesn't even look good).
