No, it's basically a Kanto invaded by immigrants (pokemon from other regions) and Gary Oak wants to kill me because i chose Pyukumuku as a starter.
Gary is allied with a fusion between KKK and Assassin creed guys.
I just chose my favourite pokemons.
Charizard is a pokemon i stole from him after beating him.
Braixen is my favourite starter.

Yeah it was a schizo trash fanfic full of murder, terrorism, sexual slavery and racism.
Voltorb used as bombs etc.

All Kanto fossils are peak, followed by Hoenn ones. The rest has been shit for a while, mostly huge ass heads on tiny bodies or blobs or absolutely nothing.
I liked Omastar the most, then Cradily but I do still like Kabuto and Aerodactyl a lot.
It was rewarding seeing them getting buffs and broken stuff gen after gen.

Picard and Eveline are two kids from Pallet town that Red and Yellow meet and helped back in the gen 1 arcs era, catching a Pikachu and an Eevee for them in the process when they were very little. Now they are 11yo and they want to leave town and become the ultimate Pikachu and Eevee trainers, they travel around Kanto meeting and challenging the classic gym leaders (even Koga who is currently an Elite Four but they still fight him instead Janine) just with Green replacing Giovanni like in Let's Go rematches and eventually fighting Archer who wants to bring Team Rocket back for himself, steal Mewtwo and use its mega evolution to gain control of Kanto. Once Archer is stopped Picard and Eveline meet the Master Trainers of Pikachu and Eevee and turns out these are Red and Yellow (yes Yellow has an Eevee now), challenging to a double battle like when you use co-op mode in the game. The arc ends just as the battle begins so you never know who's the best Pikachu/Eevee master.
Archer also says some bullshit about the dragon trio that hints at the Legends Arceus arc.

Sabrina is so weird. There isnt a shred of malice on her on the main games, but then you have the anime where she terrorizes her parents and turns people into all dolls and the manga were she a part of Rocket (though in another manga changes it is up yet again and makes her really sweet and raising Pokemo! Tryin to protect the from evil Haunter or something)
Then there a jarring shift in her design in HGSS but the “original” red that people associate her with to Kanto isn’t even her original look, it’s was actually some green military looking thing. So there was already a huge change in the first place.

It’s just hard getting a feel for who she actually is. Admittedly many gym leaders have that issue but with them its due to game freak not giving a shit. With Sabrina, she’s actually interesting enough that not knowing what her deal is is noticeable

johto and kanto are regions with a ton of different paths that intertwine with each other, whereas unova is...an oval. johto and kanto also represent their real-world locations a lot better than unova, which makes them feel more cohesive.
second off, the unova plot feels to me like it tries too hard without really succeeding. when i play a jrpg with a heavy focus on story, i want the story to be good. hgss's story is mostly just there so there's an adventure to go on in the first place: "become the champion, and stop the reforming of team rocket while you're at it." unova's story takes itself a lot more seriously, which isn't a bad thing in its own right (i love me some chrono trigger as much as the next guy) but it always bothered me that team plasma's whole facade was immediately thrown away in bw1, and then in the sequel they're just really generic. the scene where they froze opelucid was pretty awesome though.
i can go on if you want
