>>58567482The Unovan dex sucks, there's very few actually appealing or cool Pokemon early in the game, worst early route rodent, worst regional bird by far, nobody likes the elemental monkeys, I like Lillipup's line but it's not the most interesting Pokemon out there either. The good parts of the dex are way later into the game, the Unovan Bugs are all pretty cool, but Venipede and Whirlipede are pretty shit early on, Leavanny is cute but it's doomed with one of the worst types in the game. And to make things worse a lot of Unovan Pokemon are rehashes of previous Pokemon. Unova has plenty of issues, that is very apparent, you make a retarded argument about "le hecking Kanto mons", but people didn't complain as much back in the day about the Hoenn dex despite it also being severely lacking, although not devoid of, earlier generation Pokemon, that's because the Hoenn dex despite having issues has a lot of very solid designs in general, even the most mediocre earlier gen Pokemon are leagues better than literal trash, ice cream and gears, nobody besides irony poisoned retards like Garbodor, Klinklang or Vanilluxe, meanwhile I've seen plenty of people both old and new who love mons like Muk and Magnemite, compare Vanillite to Snorunt and it becomes very quickly apparent which is the better design, hell, even Cryogonal, another gen 5 Pokemon, is far superior to the ugly piece of crap that is Vanilluxe, and therein lies another issue with Unova, EVERYTHING EVOLVES FAR TOO FUCKING LATE. There hasn't been a singular fucking region before it where half the fucking dex evolves at level fucking 50, at the literal end of the game, you want a Hydreigon? Too bad. You want a Braviary or Mandibuzz? Too bad. You want a Mienshao? Too bad. You want a Bisharp? Too bad. You want a Volcarona? Too fucking bad kid. You zoomers keep bringing up retarded arguments and made up boogeymen.
