He gets more episodes focusing on his flaws and hangups than most Pokemon characters. Koharu (the tertiary 'main girl') got a few decent episodes but she falls off hard after getting her Eevee.
HZ has a lot of decent serialized plot. If you're looking to binge, HZ is good for that.
