A. Forced Exp Share.
B. Catch Exp. Nuzlockes keep this down a fair bit, thankfully.
C. The DLC forces the Exp Charm onto you if you want to access the move tutor, and the Exp Charm massively increases Exp gained. And you can't turn that one off either.
Without the Exp Charm, and if you play through the game without catching everything(Nuzlockes catch less), levels are mostly reasonable and Leon will have a chunky level advantage on you if you do not grind.
Scarlet and Violet also forces the Exp Charm onto you if you actually want to use the DLC much.
