>>57281877No, I WAS engaged, in fact, that was the problem and I wish I hadn't been. I expected something decent because they cleary tried to set something up but completely failed to deliver. The thing with the box legendary at that foggy forest at the beginning, Hop's, Bede's and Marnie's character development - they TRIED to have a story but it ends very suddenly in a huge wet fart.
Hop just gives up. Marnie... exists. Rose goes full retard all of a sudden for no reason and you have to take his stupid elevator in his stupid empty ass building while random goons try to stop you. Oh yeah Oleana is there too. Leon does fuck all, Eternatus is free because of Rose being a manchild and wholesome doggorino shows up and saves the day. That's basically it.
It argue the only character who gets some sort of development and sensible conclusion is Bede, but even his ending is rushed and can be summarised to "Opal disciplined the brat out of him".
It's just a blatantly unfinished story.
SV is blatantly unfinished in other aspects, no doubt about that. But the story is (or feels) fully finished and even somewhat polished. And that makes a huge difference.
