The funny thing is, I don't even think Lilliefags or fans of other girls are that upset over the ending (poor Mayfags though, Misty deserved better than voiceless cameos). I don't even think Mistyfags are that upset about the ending, a few crazies aside. It mostly seems to be Amourshippers who are most upset about the anime ending, which is funny considering her series was two generations ago while the fans of the girls from the subsequent two series are coping just fine.
